Strut presents an EP of previously unreleased tracks and versions by the Bahamas’ most celebrated funk collective, The Beginning Of The End.

Best known for the rare groove classic ‘Funky Nassau’, the band originally released ‘Fishman’, a simmering folk-soul tribute to the island’s fishermen, as a B-side to the ‘Doin’ The Funky Do’ 45 in 1972. This new full length version from the original tapes sees the band stretch out, transforming the track into an epic 11-minute jam – a true lost classic. The flip features the instrumental funk workout ‘Goin’ Back To Funky Nassau’, another storming previously unreleased dancefloor track from the tail end of their short career in ’72.
